I. Body aupuncture:
tai yang (Extra 1), Jing ming (B 1), tong zhi liao (G 1) and he gu ((LI 4)
Supplementary points
wind heat syndrome: add shao shang (L 11), and shang xing (Du 23)
fire in liver and gallbladder: add feng chi (G 20) and xia xi (G43)
Use filiform needles to with purging method. Prick to bleed shao shang (L 11), tai yang (Extra 1_ and shang xing (Du 23).
II. Ear acupuncture
Pt. Eye, Pt. Eye, Pt Eye 2, Pt. Liver, and Pt. Ear Apex
give strong stimulation and retain needles for 20 minutes. Also prick to bleed pt. Ear Apex. Seed pressing can also be used.
